What to Expect

Current membership consists of dynamic highly dedicated members who contribute disproportionately in every situation. This makes them highly desirable as friends, neighbors, kinsmen and fellow church members. Their characteristics are also stellar in that they are intimate, exceptionally welcoming, blessed with contagious spontaneity and a keen interest in increasing their Biblical knowledge within a participatory conversational setting. Our church has a fantastic new church building and an outstanding location in southern Tulsa County just off route 75.

The congregation is transitioning as we have recently experienced the retirement of our long-
term minister. Since his retirement, we have formed a partnership with Christ the Redeemer Lutheran in Tulsa. Their Pastor, the Reverend Scott Burmeister, provides pastoral care and records a sermon which plays during the worship service. We anticipate having a fulltime Vicar (Pastor in Training) under the supervision of Pastor Burmeister within the next few months. 

We provide tradition with updated music while embracing solid lasting values and liturgical services. We follow traditional Lutheran liturgy – practicing confession and celebrating the sacraments –  but incorporate modern elements like contemporary worship songs.  God’s Word is prevalent and drives all we do.  This combination of tradition, people, pastor, facility, and location has been attracting a wide demographic of new members and visitors from young families and singles to those chronologically blessed and everyone in between. So, you will fit right in! We offer interactive learning and opportunities for engagement and involvement in God’s service, alongside people you will instantly respect and eventually grow to deeply love.
