Pastor Rick Tabisz refers to himself as a blessed child of God, and is a committed disciple of Jesus.  His passion is in reaching out to those who are searching for answers to their deepest questions about life. Those answers are found in the Holy Scriptures. 

He was sent to Glenpool, OK after graduation from Seminary, as a church planter.

Pastor Rick has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. After losing his wife to cancer in 2016, then His daughter in 2021, he gained a meaningful perspective on ministering to those wrestling with grieving, loneliness, and change.

He was remarried to Melissa Tabisz, a godly woman who is a wonderful encouragement to all who know her.

Pastor Rick is a life-long learner.  He received a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2005, and was ordained shortly thereafter.  Previous studies were at Concordia University, Chicago, in Organizational Management.  He received a certificate in Advanced Pastoral Ministry from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne.

He enjoys woodworking, fishing and golf (although he is terrible at it, as his friends will tell you).  He has served with many community organizations, including Mercy Mission II, the Glenpool Chamber of Commerce, Night Lights Tulsa and several domestic and international mission trips.
