Past

King of Kings started in 2005 by the Oklahoma District of the LCMS as a mission in Glenpool, OK. Early services were held at the Glenpool Community center, then later in a store front on Highway 75, which had to be expanded.

 A couple of years later, we outgrew that space and were able to buy our building at 14023 S Casper in Glenpool in 2007.

         

Present

We finished construction of our new building and moved into at in July, 2023.  It is on 151st just east of Hwy 75 & St. Francis South Hospital.  It is on the site of where we have held our Live Nativity each December.

 

           

Worship services are best described as ‘blended’, which combines all of the essentials of a traditional service with confession, prayer, celebration of the sacraments, and relevant messages along with worshipful, contemporary music.

We were founded as a mission church, established to reach those who do not have a church home, and to those who want to grow in knowledge and faith in Jesus Christ. Our mission statement offers out intent succinctly:
