Past, Present & Future

King of Kings started in 2005 by the Oklahoma District of the LCMS as a mission in Glenpool, OK. Early services were held at the Glenpool Community center, then later in a store front on Highway 75, which had to be expanded. A couple of years later, we outgrew that space and were able to buy our current building in 2007.

Church Services

Services are currently held in our building at 14023 S Casper in Glenpool. Worship services are best described as 'blended', which combines all of the essentials of a traditional service with confession, prayer, celebration of the sacraments, and relevant messages along with worshipful, contemporary music.

We were founded as a mission church, established to reach those who do not have a church home, and to those who want to grow in knowledge and faith in Jesus Christ. Our mission statement offers out intent succinctly:
Reaching People for Christ
    Sharing Christ with People
        Serving People With Christ

Fellowship Hall

We are currently in the middle of a building campaign to raise money to build our new church building at 151st Street just east of Hwy 75, where we hold our annual Live Nativity. It will be a phased plan.
